The foundation is wrapped in a stylish and breathable woven fabric. This design, together with the pine wood frame, lets body heat escape the sleep surface so that fresh air can circulate. Now your Octave specialty foam mattress can stay as cool and comfortable as possible.

The Solid Wood Foundation uses North American pine wood that can expand or contract in different conditions. The dimensions of the foundation are slightly smaller than the mattress to accommodate changes in temperature and to allow the foundation to be removed from a bed frame during hotter seasons. If the foundation was designed to the exact same size specifications as the Octave specialty foam mattress, the foundation could get stuck in the bed frame.
Shipping is free to the majority of Canadian households, while there may be a shipping fee for some remote locations. To prevent a delay in sending your shipment, the Solid Wood Foundation will ship separately from other items in your order.
Solid Wood Foundations are final sale only. However, the product can be returned within 14 days of receipt, as long as it is still in the original, unopened packaging.
